This breed has a soft, fluffy coat that is typically seen in black, white, golden, gray, and tan color combinations. They are hypoallergenic, making them a great choice for allergy sufferers. 

Yorkiechons are easy to train, smart dogs who love to make their owners happy. They love attention and enjoy learning tricks. This breed responds well to treats and positive reinforcement, and can sometimes be stubborn if not properly motivated. 

The most common health concerns among Yorkiechons are hypothyroidism, progressive retinal atrophy (a degenerative eye disease that can lead to blindness), and patellar luxation, also known as a slipped kneecap. 

The coat of a Yorkiechon requires regular brushing and grooming, to prevent it from getting too long and getting in their eyes. 

Yorkiechons enjoy moderate exercise and like to be walked daily. Sufficient indoor and outdoor playtime will help discourage destructive behaviors.

These toy-sized dogs weigh between 6-8 lbs. and stand between 9-12 inches tall.
